A cocktail bar opened by Cuban-born Miguel Boadas in the 1940s and now run by his daughter, María Dolores, it's located in the middle of las Ramblas and has managed to retain its original charm. It's a tiny place with no tables, where you can stand at the bar and order from the long list of classic cocktails or try one of the house specials invented by Miguel himself, many of which pay tribute to real and fictional characters like Sofia Loren, Joan Miró and Frankenstein, while others are named after places in Barcelona.
