The decor here is all industrial steel, grey walls and elegantly-laid tables in black and white with subtle lighting. During the day, the customers are mostly local office workers who come for the good-value set menus. The service is efficient and cordial and the cuisine is creative and unusual, featuring dishes such as kangaroo with mushroom sauce and Castro sirloin steak plus a great variety of meat and fish dishes as well as vegetable soups. At night it is frequented more by gay people as it is near to where most of the city's gay bars and clubs are.
