One of the most important cultural events in Catalonia takes place during the second weekend in September in Tಲega (Lleida province) when the streets and squares become a stage for all sorts of theatre groups. You'll see experimental, traditional, classical and avant-garde work on show and the dynamic actors will encourage you to participate in some of the performances. It's a spectacular and exciting event. The street performances are free and you have to pay to see the indoor shows. To get here, take a train from Plaça Catalunya.
