A location in a dirty and rather ramshackle street doesn't mean that the hotel itself is not cared for. All the bedrooms have been recently refurbished and they are kept perfectly clean. However, only two bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. The rest have to share facilities. Like all buildings in the Barri Gòtic, this one is old and looks rundown from the outside. The sturdy wooden door lets you in to a set of old stairs that take you up to the hostal itself. The lively and atmospheric surroundings make up for the lack of luxuries.
