This is one of the most famous galleries in Barcelona. It was born through the relationship between its founder and Joan Mirò. Its collection holds works by both national and international prestigious artists. For example, you can find works by consummated artists, Catalan as well as from the rest of the country, like Tàpies, Barcelò, Ràfols Casamada, García Sevilla, Hernández Pijoan, Palazuelo and Gordillo. Also the exhibitions of the work by other, younger artists are very interesting, like, for example, the original works by the Catalan artist Perejaume, or the works by Ch. Madoz, O. Vilapuig and J. Alcaraz. Not far from this gallery there is another one called Joan Prats-Art Gràfic, located in Calle Balmes 54, where you can find interesanting prints by artist of international fame.
