This spacious, comfortable theatre, seating 370, was the home of the Filmoteca de la Generalitat, before the Filmoteca moved to the Aquitania cinema. It then became, as its name suggests, a theatre focusing entirely on dance and music. This has helped to improve the situation for Catalan dancers and choreographers who do not have many places to perform. You can also enjoy the work of new musicians or singer-songwriters at productions organised by the theatre. There are always interesting shows in this good theatre in the lively Gracia area.
