One of the first bars to start the trend in serving typical Basque tapas called pintxos, this is just a little place but it's always packed. There's a great range of tasty snacks, including montaditos (like large canapés), available and the menu changes often. The fresh platters of food are set on the bar and you just dive in and take whatever appeals to you. When you're finished eating, count up the toothpicks left on your plate to find out how much you owe. Pintxos cost about EUR 1.20.
