This cinema has four screens, which opened because of the success of the Verdi cinema in a nearby street. It always shows independent films in their original version. It also organizes the annual Festival dels Premers Films. The cinema is in the centrally located Gràcia area, where there are a lot of restaurants and places with musical entertainment. On Fridays and Saturdays there are late night sessions after midnight. Sometimes there are films for children in the morning.
